On video: the "uniting for the release of the abductees" march - from Gaza to Jerusalem of the families of the abductees 02.28.24/courtesy of the families
The Ichilov Tel Aviv Medical Center informed today (Friday) that Michal Lubanov, the wife of Alex Lubanov, who was kidnapped in Gaza, gave birth to their second son.
Michal and the baby are healthy and surrounded by their limited family, and ask to respect her privacy and avoid inquiries at this stage.
32-year-old Alex Lobnov, the bar manager at the nature party in Kibbutz Reim on the morning of Black Sabbath, was kidnapped by Hamas and has been in the Gaza Strip for 147 days.
His wife, Michal Lobnov, talked to Nissim Mashal and Tal Shalu on 103FM and told about her difficult feelings following what was happening.
"As the days go by it just gets a lot harder," she said.
"I still can't digest it to the end, I still feel that at any moment he might come and say 'here I am back', I still can't digest the fact that this is a completely different situation."

"Alex was a bar manager at the Nova party and he was actually kidnapped from the party," she continued.
"He went to work, to provide for his family, and he just didn't come back. "We didn't get any sign of life from the abductees who came back and that makes our whole feeling even more difficult.
We don't know how he is doing, we don't know what's happening to him there and we are very worried.
You can't even explain it in words, the anxiety we have."
Michal said that she tries to deal with the terrible situation she found herself in every day. "I get up in the morning and I just feel like I have to survive the day in order to survive the next day and the day after that and it's just like A loop that never ends the feelings of sadness and frustration and fear, it just finishes you," she said. "I function because I strongly believe that the day will come when he will come back here and that he needs me strong and fighting and strong for the children.
It's the thing that keeps me somehow sane.
We have a two year old boy at home and he needs his mother strong.
I also fight for the child, also for my husband whom I am waiting so much for and for myself."

I trust our government and our army, but it is impossible to guarantee the families of the abductees and the people that the military operation and the maneuvering and the force we will use will bring results, and how much time has passed and we are not seeing results.
Worse than that, our soldiers are falling, our abductees are not coming back," she claimed. "There is no light at the end of the tunnel that you can point to and say, 'Here, maybe something of what we were told really exists and is really coming true,' but you can see for yourself that right now it just isn't happening is nothing.
Only bad things happen all the time."
