The IDF announced today (Saturday) that Sergeant Afik Teri, a fighter in the Kafir Brigade, 19 years old from Rehovot, fell during the fighting in the Gaza Strip. Teri is survived by his parents, Avshalom and Osherit. His funeral will take place tomorrow at 3:00 PM at the military cemetery in Rehovot.
Afik Terry studied at Ort Kiryat High School. He studied in the exemplary track in middle school and graduated with honors. At school they said that Afik was a mature and responsible guy, loved by his friends, quiet, modest, a young man of values and full of joy in life.

The head of the Rehovot Municipality, Rahamim Malol, said that "the whole of Rehovot mourns the death of Afik. We are pained by the great loss and share in the heavy grief of the dear Teri family, hugging and sending our condolences from the bottom of our hearts."
Dr. Noga Keenan Lavia, who was Afik's teacher at the Ort Educational Kiryat, paid tribute to him.
"We still can't digest it, Afik was the leader of the group, an outstanding student. An amazing, special and unforgettable boy," she shared, "He had high ambitions and always aimed high. We saw a bright future for him. We are all extremely saddened by his passing."

Oskar Gluch eulogized the channel/documentation in social networks according to Article 27 A of the Copyright Law
Soccer player Oscar Gloch, who arrived in Israel this evening to be present at the funeral, also paid tribute to Afik.

Gloch wrote on his Instagram account to Afik, who was his childhood friend.
Next to the caption he added a photo of the two from their youth in the city of Rehovot.
The funeral will take place tomorrow, Sunday, at 15:00 in the military section of the military cemetery in Rehovot.
The family will sit seven at 14 Max and Ampro Shine St., Rehovot.
