However, ARD viewers have to do without the news anchor for the time being.
Berlin – In 2016, Ingo Zamperoni (49) returned to “Tagesthemen” and has since been one of the permanent presenters of the ARD news.
However, anyone who was looking forward to issues with the journalist in March will be disappointed.
For the time being, Zamperoni is out of the “Tagesthemen”.

At the end of 2023, Ingo Zamperoni was temporarily removed from the “Tagesthemen”.
The same is the case again now.
The 49-year-old was actually supposed to present the “Tagesthemen” on Friday evening (March 1st) at 9:45 p.m.
Contrary to what was announced, Julia-Niharika Sen (56) moderated the show.
Ingo Zamperoni will not be seen on “Tagesthemen” in the coming weeks either.
Julia-Niharika Sen will also represent him on Saturday (March 2nd) at 11:30 p.m. and Sunday (March 3rd) at 10:45 p.m. He was also supposed to be on duty on March 11th, but Helge Fuhst (40) stepped in instead.
This will also take over Zamperoni's broadcasts on March 12th and 14th at 10:15 p.m., on March 15th at 9:45 p.m., on March 16th at 11:30 p.m. and on March 17th at 10:45 p.m.
After that, the Wiesbaden native seems to be back again.
What’s behind Ingo Zamperoni’s “Tagesthemen” break?
The reason for Ingo Zamperoni's spontaneous break is not yet known.
When he was unexpectedly absent last year, NDR explained to
t-online
: “The rosters for the 'Tagesthemen' are made long in advance.
As is the case everywhere, the usual shifts and reorganizations occur here too.”
