A man suffered fatal injuries in a traffic accident on the A8.
Now the police are looking for more eyewitnesses.
Irschenberg - Accident drama on the A8: A 77-year-old man from Bosnia-Herzegovina drove down the Irschenberg on Friday evening (March 1st).
“There, at around 9.30 p.m., for reasons that are still unclear, his car veered off the road to the left and initially hit the left guardrail,” reports the Rosenheim Traffic Police Inspectorate (VPI) in a press release.
The man was then thrown across the road with his car into the right guard rail.
The car remained there.
Eyewitnesses made an emergency call immediately afterwards.
Fatal accident on the A8: Police ask witnesses to come forward
The 77-year-old was found lifeless in his car by the fire department, resuscitated and taken to the Agatharied Clinic in an ambulance.
Unfortunately, the hospital staff could no longer help him, as the VPI Rosenheim explains: “The accident victim died there during the night.”

Investigations into the exact cause of the accident were started on Saturday night.
