Her successor, Tommy Beer, is responsible for 300 employees in eight Caritas specialist services and 19 Caritas facilities in the district.
The 47-year-old social worker has been working at Caritas in Fürstenfeldbruck since 2014.
Initially as facility manager in the Caritas Alveni youth center, then, among other things, as a specialist service manager for the area of child, youth and family assistance. “I am very much looking forward to the new tasks and will continuously develop the Caritas center together with the KGF team.
We will always tailor our offers to the needs of the people in the district,” explained Beer.
“It is important to us to intensify the very good cooperation with the various Caritas business areas in the district, but also with other social providers.”
Birgit Weiß is looking forward to new challenges
His predecessor Birgit Weiß has already adapted well to her new tasks.
“After many wonderful years as district manager of the Caritas Center, I wanted to take on a new challenge and incorporate my many years of leadership experience into another important subject area,” said Weiß.
The 53-year-old has been closely associated with the Caritas association since 2005.
The social worker took over management in Fürstenfeldbruck in 2020.
