Cologne / Berlin – There was a party atmosphere on TV on Friday evening.

The fourth and last edition of Andrea Kiewel's (58) show “Kiwi's Big Party Night” ran on Sat.1.

On RTL, however, the celebrities put a lot of heat on the floor: “Let's Dance” started with the first regular decision show.

For one of the broadcasters, looking at the ratings ends in disaster.

“Kiwi's Big Party Night” vs. “Let's Dance”: Devastating numbers for Andrea Kiewel

Both shows definitely had their moments.

While Roberto Blanco had a playback glitch on “Kiwi's big party night”, the trouble surrounding Joachim Llambi escalated in the first show on “Let's Dance”.

Viewers still had a clear preference when it came to their choice of programming.

As the DWDL figures center shows, “Kiwi's big party night” reached a new low.

Andrea Kiewel only reached 710,000 viewers with the Sat.1 broadcast.

In the target group of 14 to 49 year olds there were only 160,000 people.

Among younger people, Kiwi comes in at an extremely weak 3.2 percent.

Thanks to “Let's Dance”, RTL has a reason to celebrate.

The dance show had a total audience of 3.86 million viewers (rating: 18.3 percent).

Among the younger audience, “Let's Dance” even won the day with 1.13 million viewers and a rating of 24.4 percent.

Despite ratings success: “Let's Dance” has to admit defeat to the ZDF crime thriller

Although “Let's Dance” is celebrating a mega success and even achieved the show's strongest target group market share since the finale three years ago, it was still not enough to win the day with the overall audience.

ZDF got it with “The Public Prosecutor”.

The crime thriller is at the top with 5.70 million viewers and a rating of 22.2 percent.

It remains questionable whether Sat.1 will continue “Kiwi’s big party night” after the ratings collapse.

However, the presenter seemed annoyed at times in the fourth edition.

Andrea Kiewel even criticized the “Kiwi’s big party night” viewers.
