The problem is more pressing every day.

To help the Gazans, threatened by famine, the United States dropped humanitarian aid on Saturday, for the first time, into the Palestinian territory, besieged by the IDF.

In a joint operation with Jordan, three US military planes parachuted 66 “packages”, equivalent to more than 38,000 meals, according to an official from the US Middle East Military Command (Centcom).

Other airdrops are expected to follow, according to National Security Council spokesman John Kirby.
