Patricia Tordjman (PCF), mayor of Gentilly (Val-de-Marne) for sixteen years, announced her resignation in a letter to the population on February 8.

This Saturday, in front of more than 500 people gathered at the Maurice-Baquet gymnasium, she presented the mayor's sash to Fatah Aggoune (PCF app), elected by the municipal council to succeed her.

Before voting, all the groups of the municipal council wanted to pay tribute to the work of Patricia Tordjman, acclaimed for many minutes.

“I have a bit of the feeling of having married this city,” she jokes.
