The ratings duel between the “Bergdoktor” and “Germany's Next Top Model” entered a new round on Thursday: Was Hans Sigl or Heidi Klum able to prevail?
Update from March 1st, 2024:
Mainz/Munich - The duel between Hans Sigl (54) and Heidi Klum (50) also took place on February 29th, 2024. On Thursday evening, a new episode of “Der Bergdoktor” was shown on ZDF during ProSieben again with GNTM moved into the ratings race.
Most recently, the Mainz station was clearly able to leave the competition behind - but what about this time?

A look at the

numbers center shows: This time too, the victory among the overall audience was more than clear.
With 5.79 million viewers and 22.1 percent of the market share, ZDF is not only ahead of ProSieben in prime time, but also wins the day.
The seventh and penultimate episode of the current “Bergdoktor” season attracted a lot of viewers to the screens – “Germany's Next Top Model”, however, was watched by “only” 1.62 million people (seven percent market share).
However: Compared to the previous week, both programs suffered a few drops in viewership.
On February 22, 2024, “Der Bergdoktor” still had 5.85 million viewers, GNTM 2.33.

Despite the reduced number of viewers, a familiar picture emerges in terms of ratings in the target group of 14 to 49 year olds.
Heidi Klum and GNTM are at the top of the primetime formats there with 0.87 million viewers and 17.5 percent market share.
Hans Sigl aka Bergdoktor Martin Gruber only gets ten percent, which corresponds to 0.56 million viewers.
The competition from RTL, Sat.1 and ARD also remain far behind the model show.
The broadcasters are probably not really satisfied with market shares of less than ten percent.
On Thursday evening there was another well-known TV duel: Hans Sigl competed as a mountain doctor against Heidi Klum and “Germany's Next Top Model”.

The 17th season of “Der Bergdoktor” is in full swing.
The ZDF hit about main actor Hans Sigl (54) is slowly coming to an end.
The sixth of eight episodes of the medical series ran on Thursday evening (February 22nd).
At the same time, “Germany's Next Top Model” is just getting going.
The second episode of Heidi Klum's (50) casting show was shown on ProSieben.
But can she prevail against Hans Sigl?

After ZDF had already surprisingly said goodbye to Andrea Gerhard (40), there is now speculation about Dominic Raacke's (65) exit from “Bergdoktor” - but the broadcaster has already made it clear that he will remain in the series.
In any case, the hype surrounding the format is not letting up.
Can Hans Sigl and Co. even prevail against Heidi Klum in the ratings duel?
As can be seen from the

figures center, “Der Bergdoktor” won the day with the overall audience.
5.85 million viewers tuned in, which equates to a rating of 22.0 percent.
“Germany's Next Top Model” was only seen by 2.33 million people.
The rate was 11.9 percent.
Heidi Klum is clearly losing out in the ratings battle with the overall audience.

However, the situation is different for the younger audience.
“Germany's Next Top Model” is in first place among 14 to 49 year olds.
GNTM attracted 1.02 million viewers and thus a rate of 18.4 percent in the target group.
Here, however, ZDF and “Der Bergdoktor” received a comparatively low 0.51 million viewers and a rating of 8.8 percent.
On Thursday, a new episode of “Der Bergdoktor” was shown on ZDF, while Heidi Klum was looking for “Germany's Next Top Model” on ProSieben.

On “Germany's Next Top Model” a wide variety of people came together in the race for the title.
Heidi Klum can even welcome a royal in her midst.
The dad of this GNTM candidate is a real king.
