The professional gymnasts Fabian Hambüchen and Lukas Dauser are supposed to demonstrate their skills in “Small vs. Large” – but before that, Kai Pflaume throws a swipe at his guests.
Berlin - In the current episode of "Small vs. Large" (March 2nd), Fabian Hambüchen (36) and Lukas Dauser (30) were challenged by two boys in a horizontal bar balloon duel - but before the fight participants were introduced to each other there is a nasty tip from moderator Kai Pflaume (56).
“It’s good that we can still go through with the duel”: Kai Pflaume mocks the guests
The ARD presenter hasn't exactly made friends lately: Torsten Sträter (57) was recently abusive towards Kai Pflaume on "Who knows something like that?"
Now it's the 56-year-old who gets cheeky towards his guests.

After Fabian Hambüchen and Lukas Dauser enter the studio, Kai Pflaume shoots straight away: "It's good that we can still go through with the duel, then it would have become difficult at some point with 'small versus large'," the moderator greets his guests.
The studio erupts in laughter.
“But today it still works.
Yes, sometimes you don't know how quickly it will happen.
Then they shoot up.”
“Small versus big”: Hambüchen and Dauser take Kai Pflaume’s tip with humor
The 56-year-old, who is of course easy to talk at 1.90 m, is alluding to the height of Fabian Hambüchen and Lukas Dauser: Dauser is 1.72 m tall and Hambüchen is 1.63 m - a lot smaller than him Moderator, but above all not that much bigger than the challenging children.
But the two don't seem to hold it against Kai Pflaume and can laugh at the showmaster's saying.

The cheeky sayings now seem to have taken on a life of their own on ARD: a ZDF presenter also recently dished out “Who knows something like that?” on Kai Pflaume’s “Tagesschau” speaker who was present.
