– Closing gaps and rounding off: These are the two parameters with which the municipality of Hausham wants to develop possible proposed changes for the new designation of the “Egartenlandschaft um Miesbach” landscape protection area.

This will first be discussed in the local council and then passed on to the district office, explained building authority manager Petra Sperl at the most recent meeting.

It should also be examined on which areas the hazy landscape still exists as the actual protective purpose of the regulation.

It remains to be seen whether the wishes will actually be implemented in the new cards.

Likewise, Sperl emphasized that there is no automatic building law for areas removed from the protected area.

“This still requires land use planning.”

Mayor welcomes community involvement

Mayor Jens Zangenfeind (FWG) welcomed the involvement of the communities in the revision and new designation.

This corresponds to the original request that the communities themselves have planning sovereignty and that the entire district council does not have to decide on exclusions.

“I never felt comfortable with it,” said Zangenfeind.

However, it was important to the town hall boss to also seek discussions with the landowners on the areas to be changed.

The local councilors unanimously approved the approach.
