Friday, a woman was hit by a bus on Boulevard Saint-Michel, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
The accident took place shortly after 5 p.m., according to the Paris fire brigade, contacted by Le Parisien, who confirmed an intervention for an accident between a bus and a woman.
According to our information, the victim was crossing on Boulevard Saint-Michel, at rue Racine and rue des Écoles, when she was hit by a bus from line 27, which connects Porte d 'Ivry at Gare Saint-Lazare.
The driver taken into custody
Arriving quickly on site, the emergency services noted that the victim had head trauma and was in a coma, according to a source close to the investigation.
His life prognosis was in jeopardy when he arrived at the hospital.

An hour after the accident, the mayor of the 6th arrondissement, Jean-Pierre Lecoq, went to the site.
Deploring an accident of “absolute seriousness”, he requests an “expertise of the circumstances of this accident” which occurred at a traffic junction between different means of transport.
The Judicial Accident Processing Department, informed of the facts, also came to the scene.
The bus driver, negative for drugs and alcohol, was arrested and taken into custody for unintentional injuries and breaches of duty of care.
The magistrate requested that the bus be sealed.
