Between an emerging controversy surrounding the project to install a Saudi Olympic Village in Les Invalides and a wave of panic caused by the loss of a bag, last Monday, containing security plans for the Olympic Games - before a denial by the Paris prosecutor's office -, the Paris police chief, Laurent Nuñez, continues, impassively, his mission: securing the next Olympic Games in Paris.
Less than four months before the event, which starts on July 26, the prefect carried out this Friday a progress update on the protection perimeters around the sites selected to host the events.
As he had committed to, since the very first presentation of this security plan at the end of November, Laurent Nuñez began a phase of consultation with all the stakeholders concerned, particularly those in the economic field, with a view to collecting their observations.
It is this revised plan, which takes into account numerous criticisms, which was presented.
