In the upcoming DSDS season, pop star Beatrice Egli will sit on the jury alongside Dieter Bohlen.
Now the Swiss artist has revealed how she is making a “new beginning” with the pop titan.
Päffikon – Things are going well for Schlager star Beatrice Egli (35) at the moment.
The Swiss artist is releasing her new album “Alles in Balance – Leise” on Friday (March 1st) and will be on the jury for the RTL cult format “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” alongside Dieter Bohlen in the coming months.

the DSDS winner of the tenth season (2013) revealed how her conversation with the pop titan went.

Many fans were surprised when it was suddenly announced that Beatrice Egli would be part of the DSDS jury in 2024.
In 2022, the singer told the “Bauchgefrischer” podcast how she experienced her own participation in the show.
“I was told: You have to lose weight, you have to go to the solarium and you can’t sing hits.” Dieter Bohlen is said to have even advised her to sing more English songs.
Among other things, the lack of appreciation was also a reason why contact with Bohlen was broken off after her time at DSDS.
Now the singer is returning to her roots.
But in order to be able to take up her position as a DSDS juror, a lot of things had to be clarified in advance.
“This time there was a long conversation with Dieter, which was very good – regardless of the DSDS topic,” reveals Beatrice Egli in the interview.
“We sat together for several hours and talked.” In the end, they both found each other again.
“It’s nice that we’re starting a new beginning together,” says the blonde singer happily.

For Beatrice Egli, DSDS was an important foundation stone for her own career.
“It’s even more special for me to now be returning to the origins,” she explains.
RTL's jury request came as no surprise.
“That came up again and again,” said Egli.
Nevertheless, for a long time she wouldn't have dared to be on the other side of the jury's desk.
“I am very excited to experience DSDS again.
And above all, to experience something different.”

The pop singer already has a clear idea of her role on the jury.
“My wish is to be fully in the moment,” explains Egli.
“That means giving my undivided attention and honesty to the person who has just gathered up all their courage.
But remaining respectful is also important to me.
Even if in the end you might have to say: That wasn’t quite my taste.”
