2024 will be a year full of concerts, festivals and anniversaries.
The Tölzer Land has something to offer for everyone this year with its packed event program.
A (not complete) overview.
Bad Heilbrunn
Music lovers will get their money's worth in Bad Heilbrunn.
The band “Pink Elephant” starts on March 23rd in the Kursaal.
The Bad Heilbrunn music band is organizing a concert for Mother's Day on May 12th.
This autumn there will be a performance by Ricardo Volkert and the ensemble “Songs of Love and Peace” on October 18th.
Bad Tölz
There is a lot on offer in the spa town of Bad Tölz this year.
Three markets invite you to stroll around to your heart's content.
It starts with the Easter market from March 22nd to April 1st, the autumn market takes place on October 13th and 14th.
It will be Christmassy at the Christmas market from November 22nd to December 24th.
Numerous exhibitors will be presenting at the 23rd “Tölzer Rosentage” from May 17th to 20th and at the “Autumn Magic” from October 3rd to 6th.
To mark the 125th anniversary of Bad Tölz becoming a spa town, a day of action is planned in the spa park on August 4th.
You can marvel at massive machines at the US Car Meeting from May 18th to 20th and at the Harley Meeting on the fairground from August 16th to 18th.
You can find handmade and decorative items at the Tölz Easter market on Marktstrasse.

The event year also has a lot to offer musically.
The “City with a Special Touch” series in collaboration with the city's singing and music school is once again offering more than 80 concerts from April to October.
Spectators can look forward to a new edition of the “4 Days – 4 Bands” festival in the Bürgergarten from May 30th to June 2nd.
The 100th anniversary of the city band is celebrated all year round, but especially on September 7th: a joint open-air concert with the “Bananafishbones” is planned on Marktstrasse.
There is also a whole host of cabaret and music events in the Kurhaus - including the “Oach” festival on the 23rd/24th.
August.
Benediktbeuern
Easter handicrafts can be admired in Benediktbeuern from March 15th to 17th at the egg art market “Ova Burana Artistica” in the monastery.
On May 21st, a Whitsun market on the village square invites you to stroll.
The “Bene Culture” festival will take place for the third time on June 1st in the monastery’s Maierhof.
The garden festival of the Benediktbeuern music association is planned for July 13th.
At the open-air event in the Maierhof on July 19th, spectators can look forward to Gerhard Polt and the Wellbrüder, and the Spider Murphy Gang will be there the next day.
On August 18th, a benefit concert will take place as part of the music week to repair the hail damage to the monastery.
Those interested can look around at the textile market on September 21st and 22nd, while pre-Christmas handicrafts can be admired on November 29th and December 1st.
Bichl
The spring concert of the Bichler Music Band on March 31st marks the musical start to the event year.
On June 6th the footballers are holding a garden party.
A week later, on June 15th, the volunteer fire department followed suit.
From August 2nd to 4th, the Sportfreunde Bichl will celebrate their 60th anniversary.

Gaißach
The Gaißach music band is hosting a spring concert on March 31st.
In the summer, more precisely on July 21st, the rural youth celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Greiling
In Greiling the fire department is holding its wine festival on September 14th.
Jachenau
From April 2nd to 14th, the Jachenau shooting club will celebrate its 100th anniversary with the district shooting event.
The Jachenauer Musikkapelle invites you to the Whitsun concert on May 19th and the morning pint on June 16th.
The Jachenau Ski Club is hosting a wine festival on June 29th to mark its 75th anniversary.
It will also be festive a week later on August 10th, when the village shop celebrates its founding 25 years ago and the tourism association celebrates its 75th anniversary with a large garden party.
There will be music on September 21st at the autumn singing with well-known folk musicians.
Kochel by the lake
The spring concert of the Kochler brass band will take place on April 27th - so the home stage can be used again until then (» PAGE 6).
In June and July, visitors can look forward to the fourth edition of the music summer at the Walchensee power plant, with seven concerts planned.
Performing: Claudia Koreck, Pippo Pollina and the Palermo Acoustic Quintet, “Pam Pam Ida”, “Brustmanns Lust”, “Wiener Blond” and “I Dolci Signori”.
The “Bananafishbones” will start on June 23rd.
Lenggries
The series of events in Lenggries starts on March 24th with the spring concert of the Lenggries brass band.
From May 9th to 12th, the Catholic rural youth Lenggries will celebrate its 75th anniversary on the festival site - directly after the patron day of the mountain riflemen on May 5th.
You can dance to electronic music at the “Season of Sounds” festival in Brauneck on July 6th.
A celebratory atmosphere is also the order of the day at the Lenggrieser Festival Week from August 9th to 19th.
The traditional costume clubs “Stamm” and “Hirschbachtaler” invite you to a festival ball on September 7th.
A long shopping evening with delicacies and musical accompaniment is offered on September 14th with the Lenggrieser Starry Night.
French and Bavarian specialties can be enjoyed a week later on September 21st at the “Breton Autumn”.
It will be atmospheric on December 7th at the Lenggrieser Lichterzauber.
You can stroll until the evening hours again at Lenggrieser Starry Night in September.

Reichersbeuern
A cabaret evening with “Soafablosn” will take place on March 16th in Reichersbeuern.
The SC Reichersbeuern curling tournament on July 6th is going to be very lively.
Two weeks later, on July 20th, the sports club will hold its summer festival.
There are two anniversaries to celebrate at once from August 15th to 18th and August 22nd to 25th.
The fire department is celebrating its 150th anniversary, the mountain riflemen are celebrating their re-establishment 100 years ago.
Sachsenkam
In Sachsenkam, the Josefifest takes place on Reutberg from March 15th to 24th with finger hooking, traditional costume fashion shows and sheepshead races.
The Sachsenkam boys' club is hosting a Waikiki party on June 15th.
The fire department is celebrating its 150th birthday from July 11th to 14th.
Chic traditional costumes can be admired at the traditional costume fashion show on Reutberg.

Schlehdorf
On March 17th, the Easter market in Schlehdorf invites you to stroll.
Hard liquor will be available on March 23rd at the Schlehdorf Strong Beer Festival.
The annual concert of the “Sound-Art-Culture” association will take place on June 30th.
On July 6th, the traditional costume association “D'Herzogstandler” is organizing a village festival.
The village festival in Unterau is planned for August 3rd.
The Schlehdorf Organ Autumn will enter its 17th round in September and will feature four concerts.
In autumn, the monastery estate holds a farm festival on September 21st, and the Schlehdorf fire department invites you to a wine festival on October 12th.
Wackersberg
In Wackersberg, the Fischbach boys' club is organizing the “Woodstock” on April 20th.
The spring concert of the Wackersberg music band takes place on the same day, and on May 19th the band invites you to a Whitsun breakfast.
The SV Wackersberg-Arzbach summer festival will take place on July 27th and 28th.
The judo department of SV Wackersberg-Arzbach spreads Christmas spirit with its Christmas tree sale and a small Christmas market on November 30th and December 1st.
The finale is the Christmas concert by the Wackersberg music band on December 22nd.
