Fatal mistake by a truck driver: He accidentally ran over a woman with his vehicle on Friday.
She died at the scene of the accident.
Burgau – A woman died in a tragic accident in the Günzburg district on Friday afternoon (March 1st).
The 35-year-old driver of a truck wanted to back out of the premises of a company in the municipality of Burgau around 12 p.m.
Consequential: While maneuvering, he overlooked the woman.
The victim, who was walking past behind the truck - the Swabia/Southwest Police Headquarters initially did not provide any further information about her identity - was hit with the rear left corner of the vehicle.
She fell to the ground and the two left wheels of the car rolled over her.

The police headquarters reported on the sad consequences of the accident in a press release: “Despite resuscitation, the injured person died a short time later at the scene of the accident.”
Witnesses observed the accident on Friday afternoon.
Because of her statements, the public prosecutor decided not to call in an expert.
The truck's electronic vehicle and driver data were read.
In addition, an investigation into negligent homicide has been initiated against the 35-year-old driver, the police headquarters said in its press release.
