Northern Italy continues to be hit by a storm.
There are numerous landslides and floods.
In other regions, however, there is a risk of avalanches.

The catastrophic weather situation in Italy continues.
The rains that have kept Italy in suspense for two days are still continuing.
The worst affected region is the Veneto region - the red warning level still applies here due to floods and landslides.
The President of Veneto, Luca Zaia, told
RaiNews
that he had the situation under control and had requested a state of crisis.
“It is a good result that no one was injured,” it said.
However, there is no improvement in sight for today: the cyclone area is bringing more rain and heavy snowfall across the entire central-northern region.
Civil protection warns of thunderstorms and heavy rain, especially on the Adriatic
East Sardinia, Sicily, Basilicata and Apulia.
An orange warning level therefore applies to the Emilia-Romagna and Veneto regions.
Another 15 regions are under yellow alert: Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, Lazio, Molise, Campania, Apulia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia.
The situation in Vicenza is now improving: river levels are falling, schools and sports facilities are open again.
The fire brigade and disaster control begin emptying basements.

Floods in northern Italy: “The storm situation remains critical”

Landslide in Italy hits car – danger of avalanches in Trentino
Tuscany was not spared either.
Here the authorities temporarily reported an orange alert.
There were floods in Livorno, among other places.
Levels are alarmingly high across the region.
A car was hit by a landslide in the municipality of Massarosa.
As Ansa reported, both passengers were trapped but remained uninjured.
A similar situation is also emerging in the Emilia-Romagna region.
The persistent rains also led to flooding in the early hours of the morning.
In Trentino, however, snow fell.
Up to 70 centimeters of fresh snow caused traffic chaos, especially in Valsugana.
There is a risk of avalanches - a community was evacuated on Monday.
For security reasons, the Fedaia Pass and Rolle Pass were closed.
