And he added that what they will propose is "a reparation with federalism."
This Tuesday, Minister Francos raised the possibility of
restoring the fourth category of the Income Tax
to "solve the fiscal problems of the provinces" and expressed hope in being able to agree to advance in Congress with the Bases Law and the Tax Law .
"A federal pact has to be binding with the voice of the productive interior. It is not true that it is unilateral. On Friday a lot of issues will be discussed where we will surely not agree on many," he expressed.
Regarding the tax, which was modified in the middle of the electoral campaign by the then Minister of Economy and candidate, Sergio Massa, the Chubut governor raised objections and assured that it is a request from the International Monetary Fund.
"We want to see what the Government proposes. On the one hand, the measure being rolled back and a new position with those who earn more with different variables, it is not the same as the Income tax in a context of mega inflation," he stated.

Along these lines, he maintained that they will analyze the concrete and technical information presented by the national Executive regarding the tax, prior to the dialogue on the "May Pact."
The governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, also agreed with Torres regarding Ganancias.
"I have many doubts about that, because at a time when there was an important adjustment and middle and lower sectors are not having a good time, with the increase in rates, removal of subsidies, freezing of salaries, we have to discuss what the categories are," he stated.
The provincial president said that he brought alternatives to Francos regarding those who have assets abroad and more income "can pay a one-time tax to settle the accounts and get ahead."
"When the Income Tax was removed it hurt the provinces, but many of us are already working to resolve this," he said.
And he added that they are organizing the finances of their provinces, although he insisted that the measure must be evaluated.
"If we put the proposal between the governor sector and the Nation sector, there are clearly reciprocal demands that both have to be made. One has to do with instruments to manage the crisis and others that have to do with solving fiscal problems in the provinces. We are willing to talk about both," said Francos.
Torres reiterated his invitation to President Milei and Minister Francos for the meeting of Patagonian governors in Madryn next Thursday and asked the national government for "humility."
"We must stop discussing nonsense and focus on a development and governance agenda, where the provinces are allies of the national government. Friday's call responds to a country that needs a response and cannot resist one more frustration," he concluded.
