Barbara Schöneberger turns 50 – of course her colleague Thomas Gottschalk also congratulates.

He could apparently even imagine taking part in “Let’s Dance” alongside the woman celebrating her anniversary.

Baden-Baden – When Barbara Schöneberger (50) joined “Jack, Dame, Hörig” as a Sat.1 assistant shortly before the turn of the millennium, no one had any idea that the Munich native would become one of the absolute show stars on German television just a few years later would belong.

But the entertainer prevailed with her extroverted manner, sharp-tongued humor and loose mouth and is - alongside stars like Thomas Gottschalk (73) and Günther Jauch (67) - one of the most sought-after presenters in the country.

Meant seriously?

Thomas Gottschalk invites Barbara Schöneberger to take part in “Let’s Dance”.

On Tuesday (March 5th) there was a very special day for Barbara Schöneberger: her 50th birthday.

However, the celebratory woman kept to herself how exactly she would celebrate this holiday.

But she was sure to receive congratulations from a number of prominent people.

This also includes the birthday greetings from show colleague Thomas Gottschalk, with whom she regularly appears in front of the camera on RTL for “Because they don’t know what’s happening!”

The former “Wetten,dass..?” presenter publicly congratulated the TV blonde via Instagram, among other things, where he posted a photo that shows the two of them dancing closely together.

The words that Gottschalk found for his colleague were appropriately appropriate and, as usual, humorous: “Barbara, at 50 you are slowly getting to the right age,” said the 73-year-old, who then joked: “People in the tabloid press assume you are "I would like to have an affair with Günther, but if we win 'Let's Dance' together, that will be over." His post at least shows the two of them at dance training, the television star joked.

Barbara Schöneberger and Thomas Gottschalk on “Let’s Dance”?

Not that unlikely

Can Thomas Gottschalk's contribution be interpreted as an indirect application for the RTL dance show?

With the cult presenter and Barbara Schöneberger you would at least have two top-class stars in a future cast.

Because the current “Let's Dance” candidates are too unknown to some RTL viewers.

The “Do you understand fun?” presenter at least doesn’t seem to categorically rule out participation: “I’ll be there next season,” she promised professional dancer Massimo Sinató (43) in May 2023 when he appeared on “Because they don’t know “What’s happening!” was a guest.

Maybe it took Thomas Gottschalk's (supposedly?) joking encouragement to make this promise come true in the end.

As is well known, the 50-year-old is not taking part in the current season - but due to the ratings success that the RTL show has had for years, a new season is almost certain for 2025.

An opportunity that Barbara Schöneberger might actually take.

But the current issue is also making headlines: After being eliminated, Maria Clara Groppler (24) is now shooting against “Let’s Dance”.
