Cat in the Nuremberg animal shelter for years: Diva suffers from diabetes

Diva is an indoor cat and ended up in the animal shelter because her owner fell ill and could no longer care for her.

She is around eleven years old “and a real princess.” Diva suffers from diabetes, which is why she has to be injected with insulin twice a day (on time +/- 1 to 2 hours).

The feed and medication costs amount to around 150 to 200 euros per month.

Single princess is looking for a new home: “No other animals besides me”

Diva is now looking for a new home with people “who don't go on vacation or go on vacation very little, unless they have a reliable person who can take care of the spraying during this time,” says the Facebook post from the cat's perspective.

“Since I’m a diva, I don’t want to have any other animals next to me at home.” If she doesn’t like something, she’ll take a shot.

The proud cat also likes to decide for himself when he wants to be cuddled.

“In short, I want to make the decisions at home.”

Nevertheless, Single Princess Diva is sometimes jumpy.

That's why she needs a quiet home, ideally without children.

The animal shelter post has already been shared over 200 times on Facebook to help the cat find a new home.
