Serious allegations after the funeral: According to the Novichok inventor, Navalny was tortured to death with poison experiments - ordered by Putin.

Can this be?

Moscow – Poisoning, a targeted blow to the heart or simply debilitation: even days after the funeral of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, the search for the exact cause of death continues.

The family of the deceased suspects that the opposition activist was poisoned with Novichok in the penal colony - the inventor of the nerve agent now supports this theory.

After Navalny's death: Novichok inventor accuses Putin of a targeted assassination attempt

Vil Mirsayanov accused the Kremlin of a targeted killing operation.

“The man you know is a murderer,” the Russian chemist told the Italian newspaper

La Repubblica

, referring to Vladimir Putin.

Mirzayonov was involved in the development of the Novichok agent and fled to the USA a few years ago.

After the failed assassination attempt in 2020, the Kremlin wanted to complete its plan - in the same way.

The previous attempt did not have the desired effect.

And another Novichok attack, in which so much time and money had been invested, could not be left unfinished,” said the expert.

The scientist had already made a similar statement last week.

But now he made drastic accusations.

For the first time, he accused the Kremlin of experimenting with Navalny's death.

It was no coincidence that Navalny was moved to the notorious “Polar Wolf” penal colony and isolated from the outside world.

Was Navalny used as a “guinea pig”?

“There they could use him as a guinea pig,” Mirsayanov said, adding: “What I think is that they conducted experiments on Navalny’s skin, first administering small and large doses of Novichok and then immediately administering the antidote.

They allowed him to recover and then increased the dosage until they used a lethal concentration to punish him and, most importantly, to show that Novichok worked.”

The allegations cannot be independently verified.

The only thing that is certain is that Alexei Navalny had already survived Novichok poisoning.

In 2020 he collapsed with cramps on a domestic flight.

At that time he was able to be flown out and saved in the Berlin Charite.

After his recovery, he traveled back to Moscow - and was immediately arrested at Moscow airport and shortly afterwards sentenced to 19 years in a camp in various trials.

The Kremlin critic died in the penal colony on February 16th.

The exact cause of death initially remained unclear.

According to official information, Navalny suddenly collapsed while walking in the courtyard.

A “natural cause of death” was noted on the death certificate.

But the Kremlin critic's supporters have strong doubts about this portrayal.

The family doesn't believe it either.

Wife Julija Navalnaya has already indicated that she also assumes she will be poisoned again.

In a video message shared on YouTube, she announced that she would present evidence about the background and people behind it in the coming weeks.

Novichok inventor blames Putin for Navalny's death: "Order only from the highest level"

In any case, Novichok inventor Mirsayanov leaves no doubt as to who, in his view, was the mastermind behind Navalny's death.

He openly accused Russian President Vladimir Putin.

When asked in the interview with

La Repubblica

who could order the use of Novichok, he said: “The order can only come from the highest authority.

From Vladimir Putin himself. Only the Kremlin can order the use of Novichok.”

However, the government in Russia rejects such accusations and suspects that this is a disinformation campaign by the West.

After US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) held Putin directly responsible for Navalny's death, Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov reacted and accused the West of prejudgment.

The Russian judicial authorities are responsible for clarifying the background and not the Kremlin, nor are foreign governments, the state news agency

Tass

quoted him as saying .

He doesn't have anything more to say about it.
