Choux:
60g butter
250 ml water
1 pinch of salt
150g flour
4 eggs

50g butter, melted
50g sugar
0.5 tsp cinnamon
Chocolate sauce:
100 ml whipped cream
50 g dark chocolate
Zest of an organic orange
The preparation is easier than you might think:

For the choux pastry:
Heat water, butter and salt in a pot and bring to the boil.
Add the flour to the pot all at once and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until a smooth dough ball is formed.
Heat the dough ball while stirring (“burn it off”) until a thin layer of starch settles on the bottom of the pot.
Place the dough in a mixing bowl and let it cool slightly.
Stir eggs one at a time into the warm batter until a smooth, shiny mixture forms.
For the churros:
Place the dough in a piping bag with a large star nozzle and pipe the churros into the hot air fryer in the desired length.
If you don't have a non-stick insert, you should grease the cooking basket with a little oil beforehand.
Bake the churros at 180°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
While still warm, brush with a little melted butter and toss in cinnamon-sugar.
For the chocolate sauce:
Serve churros with a chocolate sauce if desired.
To do this, heat the cream and melt the chocolate in it.
Season with a little orange zest.
Easy Tasty Tip:
For a particularly crispy texture, you can brush the churros with a little ice water before baking.
