All of her previous relationships were “garbage,” claimed pop singer Michelle in a romantic interview with her new boyfriend Eric Philippi.
IPPEN.MEDIA now spoke to Michelle's ex-husband, Josef Shitawey.
Munich – At the beginning of July, the new hit couple openly confessed their love on RTL: Michelle (58) loves newcomer Eric Philippi (26).
In an interview with Frauke Ludowig, the mother of pop star Marie Reim spoke openly about her feelings for Eric, who is 32 years her junior.
“We are happy,” said Matthias Reim’s ex-wife.
Michelle hurts her ex-partner with “rubbish” statement
But in addition to the great joy about her new love, Michelle also hurt her ex-partner with some statements.
“I have said many times that I love someone.
But only now, when I have this feeling for the very first time, do I know that it was all rubbish,” the pop singer explains to Ludowig.

After almost two years of marriage, Michelle separated from her then husband

in 2010 .
The manager and the pop singer have a daughter together: Mia-Carolin was born in 2008.
About the separation from Shitawey, Michelle said at bild.de at the time: “Unfortunately we had different ideas about the future, so it was more sensible to separate on friendly terms.”

He doesn't seem to have noticed Michelle's hurtful statements.
In 2009, Michelle seemed happy with her then husband Josef Shitawey.
The separation followed a year later.
Today she describes the relationship back then as rubbish.

I would like to emphasize, however, that the word 'trash' you mentioned cannot be confirmed by me if it is actually a quote from Michelle," Shitawey said.
“From my personal perspective and my own experiences, I could never describe our relationship and the time we spent together as rubbish.
Instead, I view it as a valuable experience that has influenced my life in a positive way.”

Shitawey, who now works as a consultant for a stock corporation, defends his daughter's mother.
“As a father, it is important to me to create a peaceful and loving environment for our daughter.
I want to show her the importance of practicing forgiveness and reconciliation.
Ultimately, it is our responsibility to create a positive and harmonious environment for our children.”
