» It is with these words that the local CGT union summarizes the Argenteuil town hall project.
The latter plans to reorganize the offices allocated to the municipality's union organizations within the Nelson-Mandela Space.
The surface area available to the CGT would be considerably reduced.
But, for the moment, nothing has been confirmed yet, although work is due to begin this month.
“We had a nice surprise in September,” quips Patrick Demay, secretary general of the local CGT union.
The mayor, Georges Mothron (LR), reportedly explained to them that he intended to install the premises of various associations on the first floor... precisely where the premises of the local CGT union are located.
Equally concerned by this project, the local unions CFDT and FO are also there, as well as the CGT PTT unions, the local union of CGT retirees, the CGT education, SUD education and the National Confederation of Labor (CNT).
