Eva Imhof speaks online with poignant words.
The RTL presenter openly shares her emotions and thoughts about her severe disability.
Cologne – Eva Imhof (45) has been presenting the weather on RTL since 2010.
However, the journalist has to struggle with some challenges in her private life.
She has suffered from depression and anxiety disorders for years.
The blonde is now considered severely disabled.
Eva Imhof was now overwhelmed by her emotions online.
RTL presenter Eva Imhof in tears: “I don’t want to be severely disabled”
Eva Imhof deals openly with her psychological problems - as does “Let's Dance” candidate Lina Larissa Strahl (26), who also suffers from an anxiety disorder.
Imhof was most recently treated with tablets.
However, as she reported on Instagram, she was recently back at the Charité.
The medication should now be stopped sooner than expected, “because that’s where the tremors come from.”
She also shows how much her hands are shaking in an Instagram clip.
A few hours later, Eva Imhof shows that her favorite cup broke as a result.
“Oh man, I’m so sad right now,” she says, upset.
A little later, the 45-year-old gets in touch again – completely distraught.
“At times like this I just think, I don’t want to be severely disabled.
I do not want.
[...] Why are all people normal and I am severely disabled?
“It’s so hard,” Imhof complains through tears.
Despite psychological problems: RTL presenter Eva Imhof wants to look forward
Mental or emotional illnesses can, under certain circumstances, be recognized as severe disabilities.
That seems to be the case with Eva Imhof.
“I want to be normal too.
“I want to be like I used to be, but it’s not me,” she says openly.
Despite everything, the presenter wants to look forward.
“I have to keep going.
I have to encourage you and those who may not have had it that bad, I have to protect them from it getting that bad,” she emphasizes.
Eva Imhof receives support from her RTL colleagues, among others.
Frauke Ludowig (60), among others, reports under her contribution.
“A lot of strength to you!
You are strong,” writes the moderator.
Jochen Schropp (45) also comments: “You can do anything, Eva!” Bro'Sis star Indira Weis also had mental problems and therefore went into hiding for years.
