Months after the incident in Nuremberg, the police identified two suspects.

These are young people aged 14 and 15.

Nuremberg - As previously reported by the Middle Franconian police, a fire extinguisher was thrown from a high-rise building in Nuremberg-Langwasser by unknown persons on November 9, 2023, narrowly missing a wheelchair user.

Thanks to witness statements and intensive investigations by the Nuremberg homicide commission, two young suspects were found.

On the evening of November 9, 2023, at around 6:15 p.m., a witness informed the operations center about the incident.

Unknown people threw a fire extinguisher out of a high-rise building on Wettersteinstrasse.

The fire extinguisher landed directly in front of the entrance to a textile discount store, which is located in the shopping arcade near Hochgernstrasse.

The fire extinguisher only missed the wheelchair user by about two meters.

A similar incident occurred on November 6, 2023. At around 8:00 a.m., unknown persons threw three fire extinguishers from the 20th floor of a high-rise building in “Neuselsbrunn” (corner of Münchner Straße and Otto-Bärnreuther-Straße) onto a meadow.

Luckily no one was injured.
