Galileo, a company that operates in the development and investment in renewable energy, has signed an agreement to sell its stake in Enviria, the leading German provider of decentralized energy solutions in the commercial and industrial segment, to BlackRock, which will invest through the Global Renewable Power IV fund.


    Galileo has supported Enviria as an initial investor in the company's first funding round since November 2021, placing "utmost trust in its founder, Melchior Schulze Brock, and his growing team of experts, helping to make Enviria a leading player in the energy transition in Germany", explains a statement of Galileo.


    Galileo and Enviria will continue to strengthen their partnership within the Galileo EnviriaSolar joint venture, focusing on the high-quality development of large ground-mounted photovoltaic and battery projects in Germany.
