The Presidency of the Nation is evaluating handing over to the Armed Forces the management of the fleet of aircraft destined to transport the presidents, as confirmed by the government itself.
President Javier Milei intends that in the coming days all the planes destined for the Casa Rosada will be transferred to the Armed Forces, including the Boeing 757-256 that Alberto Fernández's administration had purchased last year, and which was nominated as ARG-01, a nomenclature that replaced that of the classic Tango.
The first step is the arrival at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of Air Force officers who are in charge of the presidential fleet.
