Contrary to Ben Gvir's demand: no significant restrictions were set for entering the Temple Mount in Ramadan.
The decision, which was passed this evening at the gathering of the relevant security officials and headed by Prime Minister Netanyahu, states that in the first week of the Muslim holiday, worshipers will be allowed to enter the Temple Mount in a similar amount to what was allowed in previous years.
After that, decisions will be made based on a weekly security assessment.
Netanyahu's office stated after the publication of the decision that "Israel protects the freedom of worship for all religions, at every site in Israel and with an emphasis on the Temple Mount. The holiday of Ramadan is holy to Muslims, and the sanctity of the holiday will be preserved this year, as every year."
"A picture of victory for Hamas".

Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabir responded: "The decision to allow the ascent to the Temple Mount in Ramadan, similar to previous years, contrary to the position of the police and my position, shows that Prime Minister Netanyahu and the small cabinet think that nothing happened on October 7. This decision endangers the citizens of Israel and may allow for an image of victory to Hamas".
