Drivers miss the end of a traffic jam - the car is pushed into oncoming traffic
Initial reports indicate that a 61-year-old driver had to stop on Tuesday morning on federal highway 11 near Tiefenbach (Landshut district) due to a traffic jam.
A 56-year-old driver who was driving behind him did not seem to notice this and hit the stationary car, pushing it into the oncoming lane.
There it collided with the oncoming vehicle driven by a 29-year-old.

Two people in mortal danger - four children injured
The driver, who originally stopped at the end of the traffic jam, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, as was his 80-year-old passenger, who was transported to a clinic by helicopter.
The 29-year-old driver of the oncoming car suffered moderate injuries.
The driver who caused the accident was uninjured, while the four children who were in the car with him suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
The B11 was temporarily closed to investigate the accident.
