While 160 heads of establishments in the capital mobilized this Tuesday to warn of the climate of violence which reigns in middle and high schools six days after the death threats to which the principal was the subject, a new complaint was filed this Monday by the director of a private Catholic establishment in Paris.
On Friday February 29, a teacher from the Rocroy Saint-Vincent de Paul high school, a private establishment in the center of the capital, became aware of the existence of an Instagram page entitled “La Grève Lycéenne”.
“Let’s burn Rocroy”
Photos and videos are circulating on this public account mentioning the names of several members of the establishment's educational staff.
If the content is insulting to teachers, there are also calls for violence and threats aimed at the teaching staff.
We can notably read “Rocroy needs a lesson”, “Let’s burn Rocroy”, or even “To death Rocroy”.
Remarks violent enough to alert the head of the establishment, who decided to file a complaint this Monday March 4 at the police station in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.
The account has since been deleted from the social network.
The local police station has been contacted for the investigation, and the perpetrators have not yet been identified.
Contacted by Le Parisien, the establishment does not wish to communicate on the current affair.
And the Paris prosecutor's office did not respond to our requests this Tuesday evening.
