In this framework, the Government launched two innovative lines of credit for agricultural producers at Expoagro.
The announcement was made by Juan Pazo, Secretary of Industry and Productive Development, a man who knows the sector since he is an agricultural producer.
The first product is a
leasing program for used agricultural machinery
.
"When you see the machinery park, it is quite obsolete and this leads to lower productivity," she noted.
The second product is for small and medium-sized milk producers
.
"We want to generate a credit market paid in liters of milk. It is to increase productivity and to be wedged between what it produces and what it has to pay," he said.
The conference also served to vindicate the Secretary of Bioeconomy
, Fernando Vilella
, whom he called "
our rockstar
" and who generated applause from the room where he held the press conference.
On the other hand, he mentioned the loans that Banco Nación launched for this exhibition, which was $500 billion and US$100 million for agroindustrial machinery.
As indicated by Banco Nación, on the first day of work at Expoagro, the number of operations quadrupled in relation to those registered in the 2023 edition: records for certificates issued were broken and the quota of lines in pesos and dollars had to be expanded.
During the first day of the exhibition, 1,019 applications were received for $250 billion for the acquisition of machinery and 283 certificates were issued for US$194,400,000 for the investment and working capital line.
Pazos, who came to Expoagro on behalf of Luis Caputo who was unable to attend due to his commitment to the IDB annual assembly, indicated that he was a visitor to the fair as a producer.
"It is a luxury to be here. I am an agricultural producer, I came to do business, to buy machinery, to see what's new."
On the other hand, he pointed out that
withholdings will decrease as the economy grows
