Highlights: “Heart rate too low’: Mette-Marit and Ingrid Alexandra rush to King Harald in the hospital. “The king has a heart rate that is too low and requires a permanent pacemaker,’ said the palace’s official statement. The timing of inserting a pacemaker depends on when the king is completely infection-free. This may take several days, so the King will probably stay at Rikshospitalet over the weekend. We can only hope that Harald V will be fully recovered by the summer - then Princess Märtha Louise will marry her shaman Durek Verrett (49)

King Harald needs another operation after his return from Malaysia.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra took a break from her military service so that she could visit him in the clinic.

Oslo – Concern for Norway's King Harald (87) is growing.

After Harald V. contracted an infection while vacationing in Malaysia with Queen Sonja (86), he had to have a temporary pacemaker inserted at the Sultanah Maliha Hospital in Langkawi.

King Harald was then flown back to Oslo on a special plane.

Next operation for King Harald: He needs a permanent pacemaker

“The general condition is stable and improving,” the Norwegian royal family said, but the situation remains tense.

Because King Harald has to endure the next intervention straight away.

“The king has a heart rate that is too low and requires a permanent pacemaker,” said the palace’s official statement.

A torture for the weakened monarch, because due to his condition the operation cannot be carried out immediately.

show Crown Princess Mette-Marit (50) and her daughter, Princess Ingrid Alexandra (20), on the way to the clinic on Monday (March 4th).

Ingrid Alexandra is actually currently completing her military training in the Skjold camp in Indre Troms.

Home leave is actually not common, which is why Princess Ingrid Alexandra even had to celebrate her 20th birthday on January 21st without Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon (50).

However, an exception was apparently made for a visit to King Harald, as

But it wasn't just Mette-Marit and Ingrid Alexandra who gave King Harald comfort in this difficult situation, Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon were also spotted leaving the hospital on Monday.

And King Harald's eldest daughter, Märtha Louise (52), has already visited her father.

We can only hope that Harald V will be fully recovered by the summer - then Princess Märtha Louise will marry her shaman Durek Verrett (49).
