Poing - Despite the sunny spring weather, a few interested people came to the public presentation of the Poing High School Support Association in the auditorium of the Bergfeld elementary school on March 2nd.

The Poing Grammar School Support Association introduces itself

The entire board (chairman Albert Hingerl) was able to welcome some mayors, school principals and local councilors.

In his speech, Hingerl expressly quoted District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß that the “high school will be removed from the waiting list in October 2024.

There is no going back".

In a presentation, Günter Scherzl and Christa Stewens gave a look back and the future in terms of high schools, about the goals of the association and showed its new logo.

Reinhard Tonollo (Second Mayor) emphasized that the new high school would not endanger the “remaining four schools” and said: “We must not let the project be taken out of our hands.” For him it is very important that parents have the choice where they should send their children to school.

In a greeting, Mayor Thomas Stark explained that both the community and he and his wife Martina would become members of the association (annual fee 20 euros).

Anzing's mayor Kathrin Alte also has this in mind.
