After a serious fall at Walchensee, a 20-year-old motorcyclist had to be flown to the clinic by helicopter on Monday.

– A 20-year-old motorcyclist suffered very serious injuries in an accident at Walchensee on Monday (March 4th).
Motorcyclist seriously injured in fall at Walchensee
According to the Kochler police, the Munich man was traveling on the B11 from Urfeld towards the town of Walchensee around 1:30 p.m.
Shortly after the Kirchlwand tunnel, for an unknown reason, he came to the right side of the road with his Honda and crashed into the curb.
As a result, he fell and ended up lying on the road.
A rescue helicopter took the 20-year-old to the accident clinic in Murnau “with very serious injuries,” as the police wrote.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Federal highway 11 at Walchensee closed after accident
The federal highway was initially completely closed and then partially closed to record the accident and rescue the motorcyclist.

The Walchensee fire department was deployed on site with four emergency services including a vehicle to provide traffic safety and rescue the motorcycle, as well as two “first responders” from the Walchensee water rescue service to provide first aid to the injured.
