“Miosga” is also about Markus Söder’s favorite opponents: the Greens.
When the CSU leader defends his sayings against the party leader, the moderator almost loses faith.
Berlin – Markus Söder and the Greens: The Bavarian Prime Minister has declared the traffic light party to be his personal enemy.
The CSU leader hardly misses an opportunity to strike out against the party of Ricarda Lang and Omid Nouripour.
Recently, for example, he called Green Minister Steffi Lemke a “green Margot Honecker” at the party’s “Political Ash Wednesday” – and caused a huge stir.
But Lemke wasn't the only Green who took aim at Söder in his Ash Wednesday appearance.
Party leader Ricarda Lang also received a rather flat but mean comment from Söder.
The scene also came up during Söder's visit to the
ARD
talk “Caren Miosga” on Sunday (March 3rd).
The Franconian native tried to justify himself, but his reaction brought laugh lines to presenter Miosga's face.
Söder defends himself for a flat joke about Ricarda Lang - Miosga bursts into incredulous laughter
As soon as Miosga announced that he would now talk about Söder's "language" towards the Greens, the Prime Minister went on the defense and immediately asked whether the language of "the other side" would also be shown.
Then followed the scene mentioned about Ricarda Lang.
“What makes my dog Molly different from Kevin Kühnert and Ricarda Lang?
My dog has completed training – as a protection dog,” said Söder at his party’s Ash Wednesday.
Talk show host Miosga was obviously too tired of the gag: “Have you ever considered hiring a new gag writer?” she asked provocatively.

Söder attempted an explanation, which
only caused the
ARD presenter to burst into disbelieving laughter.
"First of all, it's totally loving..." Söder began, but didn't get any further, Miosga's loud snorting interrupted him.
“... when I combine something I love very much, my dog, with both,” Söder concluded amidst the laughter.
At the same time, Söder tried to distract from himself.

“At the same time, Mr. Nouripour compared me to a problem bear,” he quickly turned the tables and went on the attack again in the direction of the Greens.
“Bears that could kill people,” Söder added – causing moderator Miosga’s expression to slip completely into disbelief.
“Of course,” replied Söder.
“Problem bears are the bears that are dangerous and are shot in Trentino”.
But not only Miosga, but also journalist Mariam Lau, also a guest in the talk, had little use for Söder's statement against Lang and Kühnert.
She was reminded of Söder's great role model Franz Josef Strauss, who once said, "It's easier for a dog to stock up on sausages than for a social worker to abolish a tax that has been introduced."
The difference between the two sayings is: Strauss “pricks with the foil”.
Söder, on the other hand, “used somewhat coarser tools”.

However, the CSU boss was less rough and more imprecise when it came to another topic.
An unconventional question from the Chancellor lured Söder out of his reserve at Miosga.
