Emmanuel Macron demanded from his ministers on Wednesday a full commitment to the European elections and again called for mobilization against the National Rally, participants in the Council of Ministers reported.
“We must fight, step by step,”
insisted the Head of State three months before the election, asking them to take a long-term view of their action and maintain professionalism at all times.
Members of the government are particularly invited to go to the meeting in Lille on Saturday which will launch the European campaign in the presence of head of the list Valérie Hayer, appointed last week.

The RN is regularly accused of leniency, even of proximity to Vladimir Putin's Russia, while the war in Ukraine emerges as one of the first themes of the campaign for the European elections on June 9.
The tenant of the Élysée also congratulated himself during the Council of Ministers on the consistency of the executive's action since January.
