The business operations of the Moosinninger large bakery Backsinfonie were sold.
The location and jobs are therefore considered secure.
Moosinning – Good news for Backsinfonie GmbH from Moosinning: After it became known in December that the company had to file for bankruptcy, a solution has now been reached.
Ivo-Meinert Willrodt from Pluta Rechtsanwalts GmbH, the insolvency administrator of the large bakery, sold the business operations to Reiners bread & snack KG, based in the Landshut district, with effect from March 1st.
“In addition to the location in Moosinning, the solution also secures around 30 jobs,” said Pluta in a press release on Tuesday.
Those responsible had agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Pluta lawyer Willrodt explains: “The large bakery industry is currently facing major challenges, including due to the high energy and raw material costs incurred in the past.
As insolvency administrator, my goal was to find a solution that not only protects the interests of the creditors, but also secures the future viability of the company." This was successful, and Willrodt would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment over the past few months.
Backsinfonie GmbH is a medium-sized large bakery that produces organic baked goods for wholesale.
In recent years, the bakery has “developed into a reliable wholesale supplier,” which in turn sells the products to numerous businesses, delicatessens, organic shops and restaurant chains.
“It is particularly pleasing that we are able to retain a company from this industry that enjoys a very good reputation for high-quality baked goods thanks to its high standards of product and manufacturing quality,” adds lawyer Mirko Möllen, who is supporting the restructuring team.
In December 2023, the Landshut District Court ordered provisional insolvency administration over the bakery's assets and appointed Willrodt as provisional insolvency administrator.
The district court opened insolvency proceedings on March 1st and the specialist lawyer has been working as an insolvency administrator ever since.
According to the press release, the bakery has continued to operate without interruption since the application was submitted, “and all orders have been fulfilled as planned.”
