In the commercial space, Annekatrin Schulz explains Wolfratshausen's economic history.

The city of Wolfratshausen had much more to offer than just beer and rafts.
This becomes clear when you visit the commercial space, a new episode in our museum series.
Wolfratshausen - You don't necessarily immediately associate a juice bottle, a dog harness and a 3D sensor with a logical connection.
You have to know that the bottle is from the Wolfra company, the dog once pulled Berta Bauer's goods cart and the most modern exhibit was made by the Wolfratshausen business award winner "Smart Ray".
Trade show in the Wolfratshausen Museum: “Creating cross-connections in the here and now”
In its trade exhibition, the Wolfratshausen Museum shows more than just the history of the business location.
“It is our goal to always create cross-connections to the here and now,” says museum director Annekatrin Schulz as she appears to look out of a window towards Bahnhofstrasse.
But she fixates on a small historical picture that hangs there.
When she turns it over, she sees that the site of the former farm is now home to the music school.
Several such past-to-day comparison views belong to the commercial room in the Wolfratshausen Museum.

In the middle of the room is a modern eye-catcher.
Photos and products of the Wolfratshausen business award winners are displayed in a glass display case.
On the walls around it, visitors can see that the economic importance of Loisachstadt is a legacy from the past.
Wolfratshausen Museum: Twelve breweries and rafting crafts were of great importance
The twelve breweries and the craft of rafting were once of great importance.
There was also a glass factory in Loisachstadt - the glassworks on Königsdorfer Straße, which is still known today, served as the production facility's canteen, according to Schulz.
In 1873, the Wolfratshausen company achieved great fame: products from the glass workshop were shown at the world exhibition in Vienna.

The many guild signs on the wall show the commercial diversity.
And the juice bottle?
It comes from a company that still produces today.
Although the winery is now based in Erding, “Wolfra” still proudly bears its origins in its name.
