A lot of property damage occurred on Tuesday afternoon after a collision between two cars in Oberau.

Oberau - An 82-year-old road user from Oberau wanted to drive his Renault from Werdenfelser Straße onto Ettaler Straße around 5 p.m.

However, he disregarded the right of way of an oncoming road user from Oberschleissheim who was driving his BMW on Ettaler Straße.

Both vehicles collided, causing material damage amounting to around 25,000 euros.

Fortunately, both the senior and the 52-year-old BMW driver remained uninjured.
