A Ferrari Enzo skidded on the A99 and crashed into the central barrier.

On the A99, a driver from the Ebersberg district skidded in his Ferrari Enzo and crashed into the guardrail.
The police estimate the damage at 300,000 euros.
Ebersberg district
- At around 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5th, a 43-year-old from the Ebersberg district drove a red Ferrari Enzo on the A 99 motorway near Oberschleißheim in the direction of Stuttgart.
He was traveling in the third of four existing lanes, police said on Wednesday, March 6.
Lost control of vehicle while overtaking
Around 800 meters before the Neuherberg exit, the Ferrari driver intended to overtake a black Mercedes GLE in front of him, which was driven by a 52-year-old from the Alb-Donau district.
He therefore moved to the left lane and lost control of his vehicle for reasons that are not yet clear.
During the overtaking process, he first hit the left guard rail and collided head-on with the Mercedes.
The Ferrari driver was slightly injured in the accident.
He came to a Munich hospital with a cervical spine trauma.
The Mercedes driver remained uninjured.
The front of the Ferrari is scrap: huge damage
According to the police, the 660-horsepower Ferrari suffered an estimated damage of 300,000 euros.
The front of the car was crushed.
The Mercedes' underbody and front of the vehicle were damaged.
The estimated damage here is around 6,000 euros.
The guard rail was compressed to approx. 30 m.
The property damage is 9,000 euros.
According to the police, a traffic offense report will be filed against the Ferrari driver.
