The story was extremely brutal.
A 15-year-old teenager, found by the police in Juvisy-sur-Orge (Essonne), said he had been kidnapped, sequestered in a cellar then beaten multiple times, before being released by his captors.
Except that the investigation opened immediately came to dismantle the boy's version, who admitted to having invented everything.
It was early in the evening, this Monday March 4, that a crew from the BAC (anti-crime brigade) picked up a boy in an underground car park, rue de Châtillon in Juvisy.
This follows a report from the mother, who received alarming messages from her son in the afternoon.
The 15-year-old teenager, in a state of shock, was taken care of by firefighters and transported to hospital, without his life being in danger.
He would have wanted to “attract the attention of his parents”
He says that earlier in the day, at least five people forced him into a vehicle in front of the Brétigny-sur-Orge station.
He claims to have then been dragged and tied into a cellar where he was beaten.
The reason for this supposed surge of violence?
The victim was allegedly targeted because of his supposed links with a neighborhood in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge, with the perpetrators submitting photos of people from the city and asking him if he knew them or not.

The police services of the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois police station made the first findings Monday evening.
Checks, particularly on the victim’s phone, are carried out.
And they reveal inconsistencies.
Some details of the story “don’t fit” with the findings.
Faced with his contradictions, the teenager “broke down during the hearing,” says a source close to the case.
He admitted to having invented everything.

The reason for this fable?
The 15-year-old boy wanted to “attract his parents’ attention”.
After these “confessions”, the teenager finally returned to the family home.
However, he may not have finished with the police, who have requested criminal proceedings against the minor from the public prosecutor's office.
“This whole story mobilized a large number of personnel for two days, for nothing”, underlines the police side.
The “crime of imaginary denunciation” is punishable by six months’ imprisonment and a fine of 7,500 euros.
