There has been no trace of flight MH370 for ten years.

The case is one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history.

What happened on board the Boeing?

Flammersfeld – Suddenly the Boeing was gone.

On March 8, 2014, flight MH370 disappeared from radar en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

239 people were on board the Malaysia Airlines plane.

And to this day there is no trace; not even debris from a wreck was found during the search in an area measuring 120,000 square meters.

Where is MH370?

“Where is the plane?” These questions are not only asked by relatives of the missing.

The Malaysian authorities are resuming the search, and new technologies are giving hope that the missing plane will still be found.

Meanwhile, the disappearance of MH370 remains one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history.

There are numerous theories surrounding the Boeing 777-200.

What is known: When entering Vietnamese airspace, the plane suddenly changed direction and switched off its transponders.

But why?

Aviation expert does not believe there was an accident in MH370: “There was no defect.

That does not fit"

Is there a kidnapping or sabotage behind the case?

“There was no defect.

“That doesn’t fit,” says aviation expert Jürgen Heermann to

AK-Kurier

.

The qualified engineer does not believe in an accident, but in a targeted attack.

His theory: Someone timed the airspace change and cut off communication.

Airplanes are unable to communicate for around sixty seconds when crossing a border; the new radio frequency must be set manually.

Heermann says it is very unlikely that an accident would have occurred in exactly this small time window.

Assassination theory about missing flight: Stowaway could have hidden under the cockpit of MH370

A stowaway could have entered the small technical room under the cockpit of the Boeing 777 from outside before takeoff.

There he could have waited until the captain signed off from Kuala Lumpur, then pushed through the lid into the cockpit, disabled the pilots and taken over the plane.

“And now my imagination comes into play,” continues Heerman: “After 20 minutes, let the air out of the cabin.

And no one says a word anymore.

You, on the other hand, have a supply of oxygen through a mask that lasts a very long time.

And that was it, which is of course a terrible thought.”

The aviation expert suspects it could have been a suicide attack.

The potential saboteur's intention?

“I want to go down as spectacularly as possible!” Heermann believes: “Whoever did that on board MH370 knew full well that it would cause a terrible racket.” The theory is reminiscent of an incident on board an Alaska Airlines plane.

“I would call it a total kidnapping”: MH370 disappeared without a trace

Yes, his thesis is “pretty thin,” admits Heermann.

Regardless of the details, he is certain that there is no technical defect behind the disappearance of MH370.

The Boeing expert also rules out sabotage: “If it had exploded, individual parts would certainly have been found in this area” and in the event of sabotage, the pilots would certainly have headed for the next airport and not continued flying until the tank was empty.

“I would call it a total kidnapping,” says Heermann.
