Deadly night on the roads of the Oise, with two deaths in the space of a few hours.
A first accident took place in the town of Catigny this Tuesday evening, around 11 p.m.
An 18-year-old driver was driving alone on the D 934 road when he lost control of his vehicle.
“His car hit a tree at the side of the road, before ending up in a field,” the gendarmes said.
Despite the intervention of emergency services, the young man died on the spot following his injuries.
According to initial findings on site, speed could be the cause of the accident, as the impact was very violent.

A clash between two heavyweights
This Wednesday morning, around 5 a.m., a second tragedy took place, on the A1 motorway, in the direction of Lille Paris, near Francières.
