Apple is adding a new string to its bow.
As with Macs, the Californian tech giant is banking on the second life of its iPhones and is now offering them for sale reconditioned in France.
Since Tuesday, March 5, the brand has been offering several models at more affordable prices on the Apple Online Store.
For the moment, only the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max are offered for sale, for prices ranging from 639 to 1,499 euros, with reductions ranging from 110 to 340 euros per compared to their original price.
The brand therefore offers reductions of 15 to 25% by ensuring “a new battery, a new external case, a one-year warranty as well as free delivery and returns”.

When refurbishing its devices, Apple performs comprehensive functional testing, thorough cleaning and replaces with genuine Apple parts.
Additionally, the original version of the operating system or a newer version is installed on the phone.
“Each product undergoes a rigorous reconditioning process,” specifies Apple.
A new box with cables and accessories
All refurbished devices offered for sale are packaged in a new box with all accessories and cables as for a new iPhone.
“The high-quality materials and components contained in a reconditioned iPhone give it a second life and reduce its impact on the environment,” notes the Apple brand.
For several years, Apple has said it is committed to the environment and claims to have the ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. If this commitment is often called into question, with the sale of reconditioned iPhones Apple counts above all recover this booming market that its devices largely dominate.
Indeed, Apple has always been the manufacturer most represented on the refurbished market and the firm wants to have as much control as possible over the second life of its devices.
To do this, the brand will need to quickly expand its catalog by offering more models.
