The parliamentary commission of inquiry created by the Senate following the assassination of Samuel Paty, professor of history and geography killed in 2020, issued its recommendations this Wednesday March 6 to avoid new tragedies.
At the same time, the upper house organized an agora “Secularism threatened, Republic in danger” with, in particular, the philosopher Marcel Gauchet, the political scientist Chloé Morin and even Iannis Roder, professor of history and geography in a college in Seine-Saint-Denis and co-author of “Preserving Secularism”.
