The attractiveness of Wolfratshausen city center should be increased.
The first concrete proposals will be presented next weekend.
Wolfratshausen – The Wolfratshausen Museum on the Untermarkt, which was completely renovated and opened just over a year ago, is intended to establish itself as a “transformation laboratory” in the medium term.
The think tank will develop proposals for revitalizing the city center.
That's exactly what the participants of two "mini laboratories" did, according to city manager Dr.
Stefan Werner done.
As reported, the results will be presented as part of a special exhibition in the new museum from Saturday, March 9th.
There are also numerous hands-on activities taking place at the old Floßlände on the shopping Sunday (March 10th, Mid-Fasten market).
Ideas factory for revitalizing the city center: This is what the first concrete proposals look like
The museum, which opened in February 2023 with the Velvet coffee roasting company and the city's tourist information center, which are also located in the building complex, has, in the city manager's opinion, developed into a "central and identity-forming place".
“With additional functions of a transformation laboratory for future topics, we are making the museum even more of a central meeting place and hub in the center of our city.” The ideas that were developed in two mini-laboratories with a view to increasing the attractiveness of the city center are as reported will be presented to the public next Saturday at 11 a.m. – at the vernissage of a special exhibition in the Wallner-Bockhorni Cabinet.
The special exhibition runs until March 31st.
A suggestion: “Build a new boules court” on the Loisachufer
In addition, the participants in the mini laboratories have organized an action day for Sunday, March 10th (12 p.m. to 5 p.m.) - including hands-on activities at the old raft area.
These include, among other things, “cooperation table games,” announces Gerty Schoelen, who works in the mini laboratories with other volunteers.
Young and old can also look forward to boules, a giant memory game, a giant mill game, can throwing, “Hit the Pea”, table tennis and “Saustich”.
If you want, you can paint a “nature mandala” with other visitors – food you have brought with you can be shared with others at a “long table”.
The Barbezieux-Wolfratshausen partnership association takes care of your physical well-being on the river bank on Sunday.
The proceeds from the sale of crepes will be “invested in the construction of a new boules court”.
Anyone who has further ideas and suggestions on how the city center could be revitalized will find the open ears of city manager Werner and the mini-laboratory participants on Saturday or Sunday.
