An influencer wanted to get a free meal in Great Britain.
The restaurant fought back - an Instagram post went viral.
Manchester – Some celebrities try to exploit their own status to get products for free.
But an influencer in Manchester got so bold that a restaurant started a viral Instagram post.
The users were thrilled.
Influencer wants free food – restaurant defends itself on Instagram
An influencer with 36,000 followers on Instagram asked the ramen restaurant: “Hey, I know the request is coming at short notice.
I'm in Manchester tomorrow looking for a restaurant to have brunch with my partner.
Would you be open to a collaboration where I post something about you?" In a story, the restaurant complained about the request: "Oh, what a surprise.
Another message from a superstar who wants to exchange a free meal for an Instagram post.”
Apparently the influencer's request was far from the only one the restaurant had received over the years: "As you know, we can pay our bills through an Instagram post," the restaurant added sarcastically.
“We're happy that our food is appreciated, but hey, we appreciate paying customers even more.” The Instagram influencer was apparently anything but happy with the publication of the statements and the restaurant's comment.
In another restaurant, a woman had to pay a whopping 55,000 euros after eating with her daughter.
Instagram users are amused by rejected influencers
The Instagram influencer contacted the restaurant again after the publication: “How dare you try to embarrass me like that?
So you think people like us don't deserve to eat for free?
If you didn't understand: We would have also promoted you without paying.
We would have only expected a free meal in return, but we won't let ourselves be treated like that.
We’ll just go somewhere else and get the food there for free, who’s laughing now?”

After the influencer's second message, the restaurant exposed him again: “We are really sorry that we published your tactics for a free meal.
After your great news, we have changed our mind again.
We roll out the red carpet for you, you get everything from us for free.
Just let us know when you're coming over and we can prepare everything to your satisfaction," was another sarcastic comment.
Instagram users celebrated the restaurant for their treatment of the influencer.
“This is an example of how many influencers and celebrities want to exploit their status.
They’re just a few spoiled kids who always got everything for free,” was one of the top comments.
The comment with the most likes also made fun of the influencer: “Hey, can I stop by your place for a free meal?
In return I will eat your food.” (
