Erfurt - There was a shooting threat at a regular school in Erfurt's old town on Wednesday.
The school management informed the police about an anonymous call in which an “assault” was announced, the situation center said.
The school is currently being evacuated.
“Bild” had previously reported.
No information could initially be given as to exactly what type of crime was threatened.
According to information, the police are on site with a large contingent.
Teachers and students are being looked after, said a police spokesman.
The school building was secured.
