A left-wing extremist group has claimed responsibility for an attack on the electricity supply and accused Tesla of exploitation.

The police checked the confession letter.

Potsdam/Grünheide - After the alleged attack on the power supply to the Tesla factory in Grünheide near Berlin, the Brandenburg police have classified the letter of responsibility from the left-wing extremist “Vulkan group” as genuine.

“We consider the letter to be genuine, authentic,” said a police spokeswoman on Wednesday.

However, investigators are not yet talking about an attack.

“We are still talking about intentional arson.” The “Vulkan Group” announced on Tuesday that it had sabotaged Tesla.

The group accuses Tesla of “extreme conditions of exploitation”.

The Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) had previously reported on the classification of the letter of confession.

Further details about the State Criminal Police Office's investigation were initially not given.
